Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking a route operations professional to manage high-volume logistics across the local area on a permanent basis. The role offers 40 hours per week with a 09:00–17:45 shift, Monday to Friday, focusing on timely deliveries and accurate collection schedules.

You will ensure strict compliance with tachograph and transport regulations, assist in safe loading/unloading, and represent the DPD brand by delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with CE entitlement.
• A current UK CPC Card and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and aligned with the DPD DNA: Passion, Respect, and Accountability.
• Great interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, logistics-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-drop collections and deliveries across your local area successfully achieving time sensitive deliveries and predetermined collection schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to time-critical scheduling requirements while upholding the company's standards for world-class service.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate digital journey records, ensuring full compliance with all relevant digital tachograph and transport regulations.
• Proactively participate in the safe and secure loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring freight integrity and security throughout transit.
• Act as a professional ambassador for the DPD brand, exhibiting a flexible, solution-oriented approach and maintaining a positive corporate image in all interactions.
