DHL is seeking a Transport Clerk in Daventry to join a dynamic team within our warehouse. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for driver queries, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety and audit requirements.

Shift patterns include 4 on, 4 off, with 6:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00 blocks. We welcome applicants with proven administrative experience, strong IT skills across Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative experience is required.
• Experience working within a Transport Operation (Desirable).
• Excellent IT skills - All Microsoft packages.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Has previous experence in systems such microlise, taco master ( Desirable).
• Attention to detail , and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Act as the first point of contact for driver queries, escalating issues to first line managers as required
• Maintain accurate data entry and filing in line with compliance and audit requirements
• Support compliance with legal, corporate, and customer requirements for safety, service, and data integrity
• Escalate driver concerns, performance issues, or welfare matters to first line managers as appropriate
• Encourage compliance with site rules, safety standards, and operational procedures during shift interactions
• Dispatch and debrief drivers, ensuring all paperwork and system entries are completed accurately and on time
