Job summary

Stobart is seeking a Transport Administrator to join the transport team on-site, providing operational and administrative support. You will register drivers, dispatch them and complete key paperwork, while keeping accurate records and KPIs.

The role operates on a 4 on/4 off night shift (18:00–06:00) with a salary of £25,500 per annum. You'll input trailer numbers into the internal tracking system, liaise with drivers on site procedures, and handle daily compliance tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an administration role
• Knowledge within a Transport and Logistics environment would be desirable but not essential
• Able to work under pressure within a busy environment
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency MS packages - Word and Excel etc

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately dispatching drivers with all relevant paperwork
• Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required
• Making sure the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system
• Monitoring the service board to make sure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers
• Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering site, when required
• Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes
• Ensure manning levels are updated & correct
• Internal reporting duties
• Downloading vehicle & driver digital tachographs as per requirement
• Transport System management
