Job summary

Stobart, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a Transport Administrator to join the on-site transport team in Doncaster. You will handle driver check-ins/outs, dispatch duties, and complete key documentation to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires organisation in a busy environment, strong communication, and proficiency with Word and Excel. Night shift pattern applies (4 on 4 off, 18:00–06:00) with a salary of £25,500 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administration role is essential.
• Desirable knowledge of transport and logistics operations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently dispatching drivers with relevant paperwork.
• Completing customer and Stobart KPIs as required.
• Entering trailer numbers into the internal tracking system.
• Ensuring correct week numbers on trailers for depots.
• Liaising with drivers on gate procedures before entry.
• Completing daily tasks for compliance purposes.
• Maintaining accurate manning levels.
• Downloading vehicle and driver tachographs as required.
• Supporting Transport System management.
