Job summary

GXO Logistics in Bridgwater is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to join our team on a fixed-term contract. You will manage delivery slots, keep schedules accurate and liaise with drivers, operators and customers to ensure smooth operations.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00 for six months with a pro rata salary of £34,500. You should be hands-on, detail‑oriented and capable of prioritising in a busy logistics environment while supporting the transport planning

Qualifications

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience with Power BI and Manhattan is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Book, cancel and amend delivery slots on the HPC Delivery Management System.
• Maintain accurate records on delivery schedules and generate reports for management.
• Attend daily meetings with site DMS and logistics teams.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, operators and customers.
• Support transport planning in the absence of the Transport Planner.
