Job summary

GXO is seeking a proactive Transport Administrator at our Northampton site to keep transport operations running smoothly. This full-time, permanent role follows a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern with hours from 18:00 to 06:00.

You will support vehicle and driver movements, manage depot bookings, and ensure WMS accuracy while maintaining high standards of administration. Excellent communication and knowledge of Driver's Working Time Directive are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrator role, preferably in transport/warehouse.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Drivers Working Time Directive and EU Regulations.
• Strong administration skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out required administration to support vehicle and driver movements.
• Book in all drivers/vehicles into the depot.
• Assist in administering the integrity and accuracy of WMS and other transport systems.
• Track and administer the movement of vehicles and associated activity.
• Undertake activities in line with company's requirements and service agreements.

We are looking for a proctive and organised Transport Administrator to keep our transport operations running smoothly and support a busy team at our GXO - Sainsbury's site in Northampton.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern covering hours between 18:00 - 06:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Carry out required administration to support vehicle and driver movements
• Book in all drivers/ vehicles into the depot
