Biffa Group is seeking a Traffic Dispatcher / Transport Administrator in Tees Valley to coordinate day-to-day depot operations, allocate vehicles, and plan routes to deliver reliable service while maintaining health and safety and environmental compliance.

You will manage driver availability, oversee vehicle checks, handle payroll and tachograph records, and analyse depot data to improve efficiency. Strong problem-solving and MS Office skills, especially Excel, are essential.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of the local area and road network.
• Ability to plan routes, prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Experience with payroll/timesheets/tachograph records is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Traffic Dispatcher / Transport Administrator

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Start/Finish Times: 07.30/08.00 to 16.30

TheTraffic Dispatcher is responsible for managing the day-to-day organisation of operations in the depot through the allocation and basic routing of vehicles. You will ensure best in class service delivery to customers, ensuring health & safety standards are maintained, and ensuring environmental and O licence compliance.
