Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is looking for a Transport Admin Coordinator to join the EVRi team in the Barnsley area. The role offers 4 on, 4 off shifts with a 6pm start, providing ongoing work in a busy logistics environment.

You will track vehicles, record timings, and contact drivers to confirm ETAs while handling general admin duties, including filing maps. Basic MS Excel skills and comfort communicating with drivers are required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with MS Excel and basic computer skills.
• Confident in calling and speaking with drivers.
• Experience in similar work environment.

Responsibilities

• Track vehicles for Next Day collections and ensure timeliness.
• Record timings on the tracking/collection report.
• Contact drivers to confirm ETAs and late arrivals.
• File documents such as maps.
• Perform general admin duties.

We looking for Transport Admin Coordinators in the Barnsley area to join the team at EVRi.

Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6pm starts

Pay Rate: £12.42 per hour PAYE

Location: Barnsley (S74)

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

• Tracking vehicles, predominantly for Next Day collections, to ensure that they are running on time.
• Recording timings on to the tracking/collection report.
• Contacting drivers to confirm ETA's, reasons for late arrivals, late departures etc.
• Filing of documents ie. Maps
• General admin duties

Requirements:

• Candidate needs to have understanding of systems such as MS Excel
• Be computer literate
• Be comfortable speaking and calling drivers
• Experience in a similar work environment
• Be able to work the required shift pattern of 4 on 4 off
