INTEC BUSINESS COLLEGES LIMITED is recruiting for a Transport Administrator Apprentice at our customer site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire for our transport operations.

The role includes accurate data entry, liaising with customers on delivery schedules, coordinating with hauliers and drivers, and monitoring daily transport activities. Training course: Traffic operator; 15-month duration; start date TBC.

• Essential skills required: Good knowledge of UK Geography. Experience in using computer software systems. Successful tracking record in communication and building relationships with customers. Experience in a challenging Customer Service environment.

Responsabilidades

• Accurate data entry and maintenance of transport management systems.
• Liaising with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery updates and service enquiries.
• Coordinating with hauliers, drivers and third-party delivery networks to organise collections and deliveries.
• Monitoring daily transport operations and tracking shipments through to completion.
• Proactively notifying customers of delivery dates, times and any delays.
• Investigating delivery failures, service issues and customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Uploading, retrieving and tracing Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
• Preparing and issuing loader packs, manifests and delivery paperwork.
• Creating and issuing delivery labels and shipping documentation.
• Booking deliveries across multiple carrier and pallet network systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections and transport activity.
• Escalating operational issues and delays to the relevant stakeholders.
