Job summary

Pertemps Lincoln are recruiting a Transport Administrator for our client in Newark. The role operates on a day shift and a 4 on 4 off pattern, starting at 06:00 and finishing at 18:00, with full training provided.

You will coordinate overnight transport operations, act as the main contact between drivers and customers, and update systems and reports to keep records current. You will also handle queries, monitor schedules and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport, or administration preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating overnight transport operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Acting as the main point of contact between drivers and customers.
• Updating internal systems and reports to ensure records are kept up to date.
• Handling queries from drivers and customers.
• Monitoring delivery schedules and escalating delays or issues where necessary.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
