Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, seeks a Construction Manager (Civils / Electrical) to lead the Construction Management Team on major West of Scotland transmission projects. You will oversee procurement, design to closure, and ensure health and safety compliance.

The role offers a salary up to £75,200 plus up to 10% bonus, private medical insurance, 36 days leave, and a broad benefits package, including pension matching.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in Construction Management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS qualification (5) desirable.
• 3+ years' experience in construction management under CDM Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, procurement and construction delivery from concept to closure within CAPEX.
• Direct management as Principal Contractor/Client’s Representative to ensure Health & Safety compliance (CDM 2015).
• Manage environmental & sustainability regulatory requirements across supply chain.
• Drive commercial management to control CAPEX risk per contract terms.
• Coordinate and monitor supply, civil, electrical and OHL packages with stakeholders.
