Job summary

SP Energy Networks is seeking a Construction Manager (Civils / Electrical) to lead the delivery of major transmission projects in the West of Scotland. You will manage procurement, design coordination and construction across multiple packages, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery within CAPEX targets.

The role requires strong leadership, NEC/contract management experience and the ability to work across EPC/disaggregated models while promoting sustainability and net-zero goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience managing construction projects and/or contractors under CDM Regulations.
• Experience in Electrical or Civils construction within a Transmission environment.
• Strong leadership & planning skills with contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, procurement and construction delivery of project scopes from concept to closure.
• Direct management to ensure regulatory compliance with Health and Safety Law, CDM 2015 and environmental legislation.
• Coordinate and monitor external stakeholders and multiple work packages across Civil, Electrical, cable & OHL.
• Mentor on-site teams and support trainee Site Managers under HR processes.
