Job summary

Geo Language Services in Guildford is seeking a project coordinator to join our team and support translation projects from the ground up. This is an excellent entry point into the localisation industry, with full training provided and no prior agency experience required.

You’ll work alongside experienced project managers, learn end-to-end project workflows, build strong client and linguist relationships, and develop QA and coordination skills for future progression.

Qualifications

• Degree or final-year studies in languages, translation, or related subject.
• Sharp eye for detail and a methodical, organised approach.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Genuine willingness to learn and go the extra mile for clients.
• Comfort with IT and a willingness to pick up new tools (CAT tool training provided).
• No prior industry experience required — full training given.

Responsibilities

• Support translation projects from ground up and assist end-to-end management.

Geo Language Services is a Guildford-based language services provider working with some brilliant clients across a variety of sectors from life-sciences, publishing, engineering, public sector, marketing to name but a few. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team and support these projects from the ground up — a great way to put a translation degree into practice from day one.

This is a fantastic entry point into the language services industry. You’ll be working alongside experienced project managers, learning how translation projects are run end-to-end. No agency experience required — just a genuine interest in languages and a willingness to learn.
