SGS College is seeking an ALS Transitions Coordinator for the WISE campus to support young people who require extended support to access college courses. The role is dynamic and fast-paced, ideal for someone passionate about removing barriers to education and helping learners progress through personalised transition planning.

The post requires collaboration with multiple college teams, regular EHCP involvement, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Formación

• Experience working with young people with SEND.
• Confident user of MS Office software.
• Ability to negotiate progression opportunities for students.
• Excellent organisation, time management and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the transition into college for a cohort of learners with EHCPs.
• Attend EHCP annual reviews and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Coordinate information flow with internal college teams to ensure timely sharing of data.
• Develop SGS's transition process and ensure a robust learner start.
• Gather feedback from learners, parents/carers and stakeholders and act on it.
