At Serco, we're looking for a Transition Manager to join our UK & Europe Transition Management Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across some of our most strategic bids, mobilisations, transformations and operational programmes, helping shape solutions from the earliest stages of a bid through to successful delivery.
You'll work alongside Transition Directors, Principal Transition Leads and senior stakeholders across our business, bringing structure, governance and confidence to large-scale programmes that make a real difference to the services we deliver.
What you'll be doing
As a Transition Manager, you'll play a key role across both the sales and delivery lifecycle.
During the sales phase, you'll help develop robust mobilisation and transition plans that demonstrate our ability to deliver for customers. You'll define project scope, identify risks and dependencies, build programme artefacts and provide assurance that our plans are achievable and commercially robust.
During programme delivery, you'll take ownership of projects or workstreams within major transition programmes, ensuring effective governance, reporting and control throughout implementation. You'll work collaboratively across Serco and with partner organisations to monitor progress, manage risk, support operational readiness and maintain delivery excellence.
You'll also contribute to the ongoing development of our Transition Management capability, helping improve standards, methodologies, knowledge sharing and best practice across the function.
