Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with Schools and Local Authorities across the UK. Roles include in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching for Maths, English, or Science to disengaged and at‑risk learners with SEMH/SEND needs.

Roles are self‑employed, with flexible hours and a focus on trauma‑informed support. QTS/QTLS and an enhanced DBS are required, plus references and safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma‑informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK, including remote/online roles.
• Good safeguarding knowledge and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support learners KS1–KS5 with trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons, provide progress feedback.
• Contribute to raising education standards for SEND and SEMH learners.
