Bupa Dental Care is at the start of a bold transformation journey—and we're looking for someone who’s excited by the challenge of building, leading, and delivering high-impact change.

As the Transformation Manager, you’ll play a key role in enabling Bupa Dental Care (BDC) to achieve our strategic ambition, by owning the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects.

The Transformation Manager will be responsible for:

• Facilitating transformation projects at all stages of the project lifecycle: Confident in flexing between detailed delivery and broader strategic long-term thinking:
• Discovery stage: executing business analysis for the senior leadership team on high-priority areas (e.g. identifying problems/challenges, gathering business requirements, identifying and proposing effective solutions)
• Business case stage: supporting the ‘business owners’ on high-priority transformation projects to develop robust business cases
• Execution stage: project managing large, complex, high-priority transformation projects, ensuring the scope is delivered within the agreed timeline and budget, and that relevant stakeholders are appropriately engaged
• Monitoring stage: monitoring the results of executed projects against the original business case
• BAU stage: ensuring that completed projects are effectively transitioned into ‘BAU’. Successfully coordinating the initiative and its dependencies, ensuring clear management and control of scope, budget and quality.
• Supporting the Head of Transformation to develop, execute and embed clear transformation “ways of working” across BDC (e.g. transformation project process, governance, reporting etc.)
• Encourage effective working relationships with colleagues across Bupa and third parties at all levels, motivating them to gain their commitment, support, and resource to deliver project work.

What do I need?

Qualifications

• Formal project management qualifications (e.g. Project Management Professional, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner) desirable, but not required

Experience

• Business experience working in a consumer centric paced business (e.g. dental care, health care, retail, FMCG etc.)
• Demonstrated relevant experience in consulting and/or in-house transformation
• Must have demonstrable experience working on major transformation programmes preferably across different industries / project types
• Leading cross-functional business transformation projects (e.g. involving some/all of commercial, operations, HR, technology, finance teams)
• Must have experience and robust understanding of managing a full project lifecycle – including all functional workstreams, Steer Co’s, design, delivery, change management, business analysis, financial reporting etc.
• Executing business analysis using quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Working with diverse groups of people
• Must be able to thrive in pressurised environments, with a clear approach to decision making and tenacious approach to problem solving, constantly searching and striving for effective solutions.

• Strong communicator and team player, building effective relationships across diverse teams
• Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing senior stakeholders and analysing financial and operational data
