We have a 2-year fixed-term contract opportunity for a Transformation Lead to join our transformation programme and support our long-term goals as an Awarding Organisation.
The role of a Transformation Lead is to provide day-to-day direction and management for each project within an individual Workstream, leading cross-functional teams and communicating the case for change to all stakeholders.
We are interested in applications demonstrating expertise in target operating model design, understanding and applying organisational design principles, ideally within an Awarding Organisation landscape. A background in Human Resources and Organisational Design is highly desirable. Previous experience as an Organisational Development Lead, in Change Management, or as a Consultant is also relevant.
This appointment will be made on merit.

Our Awarding Organisation's Transformation Programme has established a foundation, and now we aim to build our new target operating model through optimal sequencing of its implementation, considering significant technology changes.
You will lead the development of the Target Operating Model, ensuring it aligns with our strategy to be efficient, scalable, and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will analyze current and interim states, create a comprehensive plan for the future state, and benchmark against industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
You will collaborate with People and Communications teams to develop a sustainable transformation plan that keeps colleagues and stakeholders informed and engaged. Additionally, you will support leaders to become effective change sponsors and work closely with the People Team to ensure the organisation is prepared for changes.
You should have demonstrable experience in target operating model design aligned with strategic goals, and a strong understanding of organisational design principles. Experience leading organisations through change, with a focus on engagement, is essential. You should be an excellent relationship builder at all levels, including executives.
A background in Human Resources and Organisational Design, especially within an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Organisation, is preferred. This includes experience in restructuring teams, defining roles and responsibilities, and implementing change initiatives.
