Job summary

Underwriting Collective (UWC) | Transformation Team in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a hybrid team. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to deliver initiatives that improve processes, systems and ways of working across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a change, transformation or project delivery environment.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills, including user stories, functional requirements and process flows.
• Experience delivering digital, systems or technology-led initiatives, ideally within insurance, financial services or another regulated industry.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and build consensus across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies, with experience working alongside development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a collaborative approach and focus on delivering business value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements, user stories and process flows.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders at all levels.
• Act as the link between business teams and developers, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Build stakeholder consensus, secure approvals and support informed decision-making throughout delivery.
• Identify risks, impacts and dependencies to support the successful delivery of change initiatives.
