Job summary

The role requires managing KPIs, supervising staff, and maintaining strict safety and environmental standards in a unionised environment. A strategic focus on cost control and cross-divisional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• COTC is required to operate the site.
• Experience managing teams and health & safety in a unionised environment.
• Proven track record in delivering service excellence and KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing site adherence to health and safety, security, employee relations and legislation.
• Ensuring service delivery meets defined KPIs while driving cost control and productivity.
• Supervising, coaching and training the team to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Promoting open communication with departments and reviewing processes to improve efficiency.
• Defining and developing staff and sharing best practice across the team.
• Managing compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Employment legislation.
• Agreeing, monitoring and managing the full P&L budget, supporting depot growth.
• Collaborating with cross-divisional teams to provide integrated waste solutions.
