Job summary

Apex Group Ltd is seeking a Transfer Agency Operations controls and Business Readiness Manager in the UK. You will maintain a robust control environment, oversee key TA processes, and lead readiness activities for business change, client onboarding, and system upgrades.

The role requires expertise across TA operations, risk and governance, with responsibility for go-live readiness, regulatory compliance, and process improvement. Strong stakeholder collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive Transfer Agency experience across multiple operational disciplines.
• Strong understanding of Transfer Agency end to end.
• Experience managing operational risk and controls frameworks.
• Experience leading business readiness and implementation activities.
• Strong understanding of UK and European regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the transfer agency operational control framework.
• Oversee dealing, registration, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Monitor KRIs and KPIs; report to senior management committees.
• Lead readiness assessments for client implementations, fund launches, transfers and system upgrades.
• Define go-live criteria and coordinate readiness across Operations, Technology, Compliance and Risk.
• Support regulatory compliance and internal/external audits.
