Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Transactional Finance Analyst in Manchester to support day-to-day transaction management within the finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

You will produce monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, KPI dashboards, and cash flow reports while working with the PTP Transactions & Reporting Manager to improve performance and controls. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Background in accounting or finance, particularly with payables and receivables.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with financial systems and software.
• Proactive problem solver with good communication.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

Description

• Produce accurate monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring Accounts Payable-related financial information is complete and reliable.
• Create KPI reports and stakeholder dashboards, providing clear insights and meaningful commentary to support decision-making.
• Work closely with the PTP Transactions & Reporting Manager to identify trends, improve performance and reduce aged items and debit balances.
• Prepare timely cash flow reports to support Treasury and wider business planning.
• Provide support during audits and other financial reviews.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance reporting, controls and operational efficiency.
