This is an opportunity to lead a critical finance function in a large, successful business based in Liverpool. You will oversee all supplier payments and financial transactions, leading a team of 18 across accounts payable, receivable, and other finance areas. The role reports directly to the Group Finance Director and combines operational responsibilities with strategic influence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full accounts processing function – including AP, AR, GNFR, imports, and intercompany transactions across multiple entities.
• Lead supplier payment operations – ensuring efficient and compliant processing domestically and internationally.
• Drive reporting and insights – providing performance updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Champion process improvements – streamline workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Lead ERP transformation – influence the rollout of a new finance system.
• Develop and manage a high-performing team – ensuring resource alignment and performance.
• Ensure governance and compliance – uphold controls and audit readiness.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have senior leadership experience in high-volume transactional finance, with a proven track record of operational excellence and leading teams through change. Experience within complex, fast-paced environments is preferred.
