Job summary

Henlee Resourcing is partnering with a leading financial services organisation in Swindon to recruit an experienced Training Lead for its Business School / Academy on an interim 12-month FTC. The role is Swindon-based with hybrid work (2–3 days onsite) and offers up to £80,000 plus a £5k car allowance and excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will lead a two-person team, own the training portfolio for Financial & Mortgage Advisers, and shape learning strategies that ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience leading training programs within regulated financial services.
• UK Level 4 Diploma in financial advice.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead a small team and deliver learning strategies.

This is a high-profile player-manager role, leading a small team of two and owning the training portfolio for Financial & Mortgage Advisers. You will shape and deliver learning strategies that support adviser competence, professional excellence and regulatory readiness.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will oversee technical, advice and capability development programmes, ensuring learning remains commercially relevant, innovative and aligned with the evolving regulatory landscape.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Significant training experience within regulated financial, wealth, mortgage advice (or a similar) environment.
• UK Level 4 Diplomaand strong knowledge of training within regulated financial advice.
• A solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and translating business needs into effective learning solutions.
• Strong leadership skills.
