Job summary

Henlee Resourcing is partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Learning & Development Manager for its Business School/Academy on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

This interim 12-month FTC role is based in Swindon with hybrid working (2–3 days on-site). The role leads a small team and owns the development portfolio for Financial Advisers, shaping learning strategies to ensure regulatory readiness and commercial relevance.

Qualifications

• Significant L&D experience within regulated financial, wealth, mortgage advice or a similar environment.
• UK Level 4 Diploma and strong knowledge of training within regulated financial advice.
• Solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and translating business needs into learning solutions.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-profile role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of two and own the development portfolio for Financial Advisers.
• Shape and deliver learning strategies that support adviser competence, professional excellence and regulatory readiness.
• Oversee technical, advice and capability development programmes.
• Ensure learning remains commercially relevant, innovative and aligned with regulatory landscape.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful programmes.
• Hit the ground running in a high-profile role.
