Job summary

Horder Healthcare is seeking a Training, Education and Development Apprentice to join a friendly team. This role offers hands-on experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification and gaining practical HR/L&D exposure in a healthcare setting.

You will support the TED team with administrative tasks, training logistics and data management, while developing professional skills and industry knowledge through structured training and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • Must be keen to learn and develop within HR, L&D or business administration.
  • Organised, enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to develop through a recognised apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to Training, Education & Development.
  • Monitor and respond to routine enquiries via the TED inbox.
  • Assist with organising internal and external training sessions and events.
  • Help book training rooms, facilities, equipment and trainers.
  • Support administration of training applications and development opportunities.
  • Maintain training records and update information on HR systems.
  • Assist with producing reports on training activity and attendance.
  • Prepare learning materials for training sessions.
  • Collect learner feedback and training evaluations.
  • Support administration of mandatory training requirements across the organisation.
  • Be the first point of contact for colleagues seeking training support.

Are you organised, enthusiastic and eager to learn? Do you have an interest in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or business administration?

Horder Healthcare is looking for a Training, Education & Development (TED) Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

As a TED Apprentice, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of learning and development activities across the organisation, helping colleagues access the training they need to provide outstanding care and services. You will receive ongoing guidance, mentoring and practical experience while developing your knowledge of Learning & Development and Human Resources within a healthcare setting.

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with the TED Team, you will:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Training, Education & Development team.

  • Previous customer-facing experience.
