Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Design & Assessment Specialist to drive transformational learning programs for the Royal Navy. The role focuses on instructional design, learning systems and coaching teams to deliver high-quality training across technical specialisms.

You will work in a flexible environment with remote, hybrid and site-based options, supporting continuous improvement, accreditation and innovative learning methods while contributing to the Defence sector's training transformation.

Responsibilities

• Adapt training materials to reflect active learning approaches and utilize trending technologies.
• Support the development of training programmes across a range of technical specialisms using diverse approaches to engage learners.
• Advise Training Design, Courseware Developers and Media Developers on best ways to utilise and customise training solutions.
• Provide instruction to Training Designers, Courseware Developers and Media Developers to meet client objectives and assess learner progress.
• Support the accreditation process, ensuring requirements are met and guidance provided on related activities.
• Coach and mentor teams in learning design, assessment design and innovative instructional strategies.
• Promote gamification, VR, simulation and other contemporary learning methods to enhance learner engagement.
• Continuously assess the impact of training content and drive improvements based on data.
• Maintain ongoing professional development and ensure health and safety for colleagues and customers.
• Follow security standards and system requirements to protect data and ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties to support the Integrated Training Design Service.
