Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. in Rotherham is seeking a Training Centre Manager to lead the day-to-day quality and performance of a busy education and training provision, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.

This hands-on leadership role combines staff management, teaching and learning, quality assurance and learner progress. You will drive high standards and work with senior leadership to improve the provision, promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• A Level 5+ teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths or English.
• Experience with post-16 learners, especially with SEND.
• Experience leading, developing or supporting teaching staff.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance, assessment and learner progress.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of tutors and education staff.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
• Support staff through coaching, mentoring, lesson observations and CPD.
• Monitor learner progress, engagement and outcomes.
• Lead quality assurance and assessment processes.
• Use data to identify improvements and drive better outcomes.
• Deliver Functional Skills teaching where required.
• Work closely with senior leadership to develop and improve the provision.
• Promote an inclusive, positive and supportive learning environment.
