Job Description
- Develop and implement a company-wide learning and development strategy aligned to business objectives and workforce capability requirements
- Design and oversee career and development pathways for employees at all levels, supporting both operational excellence and long-term talent development
- Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed training team, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery and a high-performance culture
- Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of training programmes across multiple sites, balancing business needs and resource availability
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to identify skills gaps, support workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all mandatory, compliance and role-specific training requirements are effectively delivered and monitored
- Oversee the maintenance of training records, reporting, metrics and compliance data, providing regular insights to senior leadership
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using data and business outcomes to drive improvements and demonstrate return on investment
- Manage training budgets and resources effectively, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, maximise value and enhance the learner experience
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, safety and operational excellence across the organisation
