Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a company-wide learning and development strategy aligned to business objectives and workforce capability requirements.
  • Design and oversee career and development pathways for employees at all levels, supporting operational excellence and long-term talent development.
  • Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed training team, ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery and a high-performance culture.
  • Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of training programmes across multiple sites, balancing business needs and resource availability.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to identify skills gaps, support workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all mandatory, compliance and role-specific training requirements are effectively delivered and monitored.
  • Oversee the maintenance of training records, reporting, metrics and compliance data, providing regular insights to senior leadership.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using data and business outcomes to drive improvements and demonstrate ROI.
  • Manage training budgets and resources effectively, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximise value.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, safety and operational excellence across the organisation.
