Training and Competency Supervisor

Location: South West

Our client, a leading wealth management firm dedicated to delivering tailored financial solutions and exceptional service, is looking for a T&C Supervisor to join their team. The role involves supporting the development, supervision, and ongoing competence of financial advisers, ensuring regulatory standards are met while fostering professional excellence. This position is key to maintaining the integrity of their advice model through proactive supervision and structured training.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a portfolio of advisers in line with the firm’s T&C scheme and FCA requirements.
• Conduct observations, coaching sessions, and formal assessments of advisers.
• Monitor KPIs and risk indicators to identify training needs or areas for development.
• Lead induction training for new advisers and provide ongoing development support.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Learning & Development teams to ensure governance and continuous improvement of the T&C framework.
• Provide MI reporting and contribute to audits and regulatory reviews.
• Promote a culture of ethical advice and continuous learning within the adviser community.
