Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Helensburgh is seeking a Training Administrator / Planner to join RNAD Coulport's training team. The role links depot planning with the training department to develop the annual SOTR, Training Plan, and related schedules.

You will monitor metrics, maintain training records, coordinate with suppliers, and support compliance and reporting while staying organized in a fast-paced environment. This role is based on site at Coulport.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Draft the annual SOTR and translate into a detailed Training Plan; de-conflict with calendars.
  • Compile and analyse metrics highlighting risks to workforce readiness.
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets, training registers and course reports.
  • Support Corporate Compliance, Mandatory and External training requirements.
  • Process purchase orders, obtain quotations and archive paperwork.
  • Book resources, classrooms and media; prepare training materials.
  • Complete visitor access in line with security procedures.
  • Monitor training mailboxes and respond to enquiries.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep training operations running smoothly.
  • Uphold a professional, proactive attitude and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Provide general training administration support as directed.

About The Role

We're looking for a Training Administrator / Planner to work as an integral member of the training team in RNAD Coulport, Helensburgh.

Role

The Training Administrator / Planner is the vital link between RNAD Coulport depot planning and the training department. The role focuses on two key elements:

  • Planning & De-confliction – develop the annual Statement of Training Requirement (SOTR) and the resulting Training Plan, to coordinate training with production and operational activities.
  • Monitoring & Reporting – generate lead-indicator metrics that expose risks to achieving a suitably qualified and experienced workforce, and maintain accurate, timely training records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft the annual SOTR and translate into a detailed Training Plan. De-conflict training sessions with operational and production calendars.
  • Compile and analyse metrics that highlight risks to maintaining a suitably qualified and experienced workforce.
  • Maintain excel spreadsheets, update training registers, and produce course reports.
  • Support to Corporate Compliance, Mandatory, and External training requirements.
  • Process purchase orders, obtain quotations for training courses, and archive/file all paperwork.
  • Book resources, classrooms and media, and prepare training materials ahead of each session.
  • Complete visitor access in accordance with security procedures.
  • Monitor training mailboxes and respond to enquiries.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to keep training operations running smoothly.
  • Uphold a professional, proactive attitude and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
  • General training administration support, as directed by management.
Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience
  • Proven experience in an Administration or Planning role
