Job Title: Trainer - Immediate Emergency Care (IEC)
Location: London – Beckton, Park Royal, Woolwich or Harrow
Compensation: £40, rising to £42, post probation + benefits

The role

As an IEC Trainer, you will provide Immediate Emergency Care / Advanced First Aid Training to the London Fire Brigade. No previous training experience is required as we will develop you into the role, provided you have comprehensive and current knowledge of Immediate Emergency Care.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing training to small and large groups of learners, with at least 80% of your annual hours dedicated to training.
• Setting high standards, coaching, mentoring trainers, and developing personal development plans.
• Delivering training safely and professionally, adhering to course materials and risk assessments.
• Providing and evaluating quality assurance feedback.

Essential experience:

• Experience in training or delivering Immediate Emergency Care.

Qualifications:

• Technical qualification such as FPOS or FREC.
• Working towards or committed to attaining a recognised teaching/training qualification (e.g., PTLLS).

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
