Job summary

Samworth Brothers Ltd in Worksop is looking for a proactive trainer to conduct inductions and drive Health & Safety and Food Safety training across the bakery. You will train new starters, assess competencies, and ensure procedures are understood and signed off.

The role offers opportunities for progression within the team and wider business. Based at Manton Wood, you will support training programmes, liaise with the Training Manager, and promote a strong safety culture while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Conduct Company inductions to new starters, including Health and Safety and Food Safety.
• Ensure core skills are trained in a timely manner to new starters and assessed at appropriate intervals, including Manual Handling, relevant SOPs, etc and maintain high standards of communication with Managers, Team Leaders and colleagues, supporting the gap analysis.
• Develop and promote an excellent Health & Safety and Food Safety culture.
• Develop and promote an excellent Food Safety culture.
• Ensure all colleagues understand and are signed off on all procedures to ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and operational ways of working and provide training and sign off support for all CCP operatives and update CCP matrices.
• Liaise with the Training Manager on the timing and delivery of programmes over and above bakery compliance.
• Where appropriate train and assess competency on equipment within the bakery.
