Job summary

Samworth Brothers Limited in Worksop (Manton Wood) is seeking a Charge Hand for our production facility. The role focuses on loading and unloading, palletising, and ensuring smooth shift operation with supervision of colleagues on the line.

You will operate forklifts and barcode scanners, manage paperwork, and ensure goods are processed accurately to meet despatch targets. This is a hands-on, progression-friendly role within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a shift or team.
• Experience with SAP systems desirable.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, checking, moving, storing, palletising, picking, or packing of products; managing received goods or goods for despatch.
• Managing paperwork, checking for damaged goods, and using forklifts or other equipment such as barcode scanners.
• Using SAP. As a Charge Hand you are responsible for running the shift and supervising colleagues while coordinating with the team to meet production targets.
