Job summary

Samworth Brothers at Manton Wood in Worksop is recruiting Wrap Operatives to join our Food to Go division, producing wraps to high specifications. Training will be provided on Grote wrap cutter, Marco scales, Pro-seal and bread denesters by our onsite training team.

You will support a team of colleagues, communicate issues to your Line Manager, and may move between sandwich lines as needed, with a clear path toward team leadership and progression.

Qualifications

• Assist a team to produce wraps to a high specification.
• Onsite training provided for machinery (Grote wrap cutter, Marco scales, Pro-seal, bread denesters).
• Willingness to move around the business and work on different lines when required.

So what’s the job all about?

• They are required to assist a team of colleagues to produce Wraps for our customer to a high specification. The role also requires training on certain machinery such as, Grote wrap cutter and Marco scales. All training for the role will be provided by the onsite training department.
• Wrap Operatives should communicate any issues directly to their Line Manager and have flexibility to move around the business as and when required, this may include working on sandwich lines and using machinery such as Pro-seal and bread denesters.
