Job summary

Currys in the Cumbernauld area is hiring a Trainee White Goods Engineer to join our White Goods Repair Team. You’ll start with basic electrical knowledge and complete training to step into a White Goods Engineer role in 2–4 months, with daily field visits and a focus on friendly customer service.

The role is full-time, with an average 41 hours per week, 5 over 7 shifts (some Saturdays on a roster). You’ll test, diagnose and fix appliances in customers’ homes, drive a company van, and contribute

Qualifications

• Basic electrical knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Drive a company van and manage daily schedule.
• Able to handle heavy White Goods.
• No more than 6 penalty points on UK licence.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose and repair white goods in customers' homes.
