Job summary

Currys in Basingstoke is recruiting a Trainee White Goods Engineer to join our White Goods Repair Team. You’ll train to step into a White Goods Engineer role within 2-4 months while learning on the job.

You’ll test, diagnose, and fix appliances in customers’ homes, drive the company van, and deliver great service. A full UK driving licence is essential, with some weekend rostered work, and a quarterly bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Repair or installation experience with electric or electro-mechanical products.
• Electrical knowledge: basic competence in theory and practice.
• Ability to handle heavy White Goods (washing machines, dishwashers etc).
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, and fix white goods in our customers’ homes.
• Provide and implement technical knowledge across a range of white goods appliances.
• Drive a company van and manage your own day effectively.
• Build Currys' reputation as a home services expert.
