Job summary

Currys plc in Basingstoke is recruiting for a Trainee White Goods Engineer. The role involves learning on-the-job, with training to progress to a qualified white goods engineer within 2–4 months, while working with our White Goods Repair Team.

You will test, diagnose, and fix appliances, provide excellent customer service, and drive a company van as part of your daily duties. A full UK driving licence is required, with up to 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Repair or installation experience with electric or electro-mechanical products (e.g., field services, domestic installation).
• Basic electrical theory and practical ability required.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, and repair white goods in customers' homes.
• Provide technical knowledge across white goods appliances.
• Drive a company van and manage daily schedule.
