Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Trainee Field Service Technician to support the installation of our sensor technology. This field-based role covers Birmingham and the South of the UK, with UK-wide travel during training.

You will install hardware on customer sites, complete on-site testing, and maintain Excel-based installation records. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential, with shift patterns including early mornings and late finishes.

What you will do

We are recruiting a Trainee Field Service Technician to support the installation of our sensor technology. This is a field-based role, primarily covering Birmingham and the South of the UK.

During your training period, you will be required to travel UK-wide, including regular overnight stays away from home. You will work mainly on customer sites and must be flexible, as working hours include shift patterns with early morning and late finishes, depending on project requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who is practical, technically minded and keen to build a career in field services.
