Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting for Trainee SEN Teaching Assistants across Peterlee. This is a full-time, term-time role supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs in Peterlee and surrounding areas.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, help pupils access classroom activities, break learning into steps, and support transitions. No experience required; training and ongoing support provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or childcare or related fields is beneficial.
• Patience, empathy and a caring attitude are essential for SEND environments.
• Enthusiasm for developing a career in SEND and working with diverse pupils.

Pay: £98-£115 per day, depending on experience

The Role
