Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with various needs in Peterlee and surrounding areas. The role is full-time during term time, with hours Monday to Friday and a start date as soon as available.

No experience is required, and candidates will gain practical school-based training. You will assist pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, language needs, and other learning challenges, working 1:1 or in small groups under supervision.

Qualifications

• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Experience or background in SEND or working with children is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: £98–£115 per day, depending on experience

The Role

Driving Advantageous

A driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous as some placements may be across Peterlee and the surrounding areas.
