We are searching for a Trainee Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join their Meat Processing division within the Food and FMCG division.

Recruitment is a sales role, and for that reason, we are looking for people who are happy to sell, both in person and over the phone, via email, and social media. All recruitment skills will be trained. The most important qualities are drive, determination, and resilience.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Resource relevant candidates for your clients and plan proactively to ensure a diverse candidate pool to support your desk needs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients via calls, service visits, surveys, and mailshots to identify current and future needs, fulfilling them through your database or advertising on job boards and social media.
  • Anticipate candidate requirements on your desk.
  • Maintain and grow our candidate database, ensuring contact frequency, specification calls, and actions meet expectations.
  • Share industry knowledge and insights during client and candidate interactions.
  • Utilize digital platforms, including social media, to establish new connections.
  • Implement an achievable annual desk business plan to reflect sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly productivity and sales targets, ensuring high candidate and client service levels.
  • Keep accurate records across systems following company policies and procedures.
  • Gain and maintain food industry insights, staying updated on trends, challenges, legislation, competitors, and local knowledge.
  • Network to build business opportunities, including sharing temporary and interim roles with team members.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience.
  • Commission opportunity of up to 25% of billing.
