Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting 8 Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join Berkshire Talking Therapies. The role blends University days with service days, and you will carry a caseload while applying university learning in practice.

You will undertake and pass the IAPT PWP training through the University of Reading, gain the Postgraduate/Graduate Certificate in Evidence Based Psychological Treatments, and work in a high-volume, low-intensity CBT setting

Responsibilities

• Providing high-volume, low-intensity CBT interventions for mild to moderate anxiety and depression
• Facilitating group sessions to support patient groups
• Carrying a caseload while on trainee University and service days
• On successful completion, becoming a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within Talking Therapies
