Job summary

The Dorset Steps2Wellbeing service within Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs). You will train with University of Exeter while delivering CBT-based guided self-help and initial assessments in a hybrid model across Dorset.

Role includes phone/online/face-to-face support, risk assessments, and coordination with housing, CMHT, and employment services. Interviews in December 2026.

Qualifications

• Level 5 qualification for Graduate Certificate route or Level 6 qualification for Post Graduate Certificate route.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial patient assessments.
• Deliver CBT-based Guided Self-Help interventions for mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety disorders.
• Carry out risk assessments and liaise with housing, CMHT, and employment services.
