Zusammenfassung

Rethink Mental Illness is recruiting a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join the integrated mental health team at HMP Northumberland/Durham. This training post combines university study with practical experience, delivering low-intensity CBT-based interventions for mild-to-moderate anxiety and depression.

You'll work four days in service and one day at university, with a contractual requirement for full attendance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in a relevant subject (e.g., psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy).
• Experience working within mental health.
• Full driving license and access to transport.

Aufgaben

• Assess and support people with common mental health difficulties.
• Deliver guided self-help and low-intensity CBT-based interventions.
• Manage a caseload and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Support individuals on their recovery journey and wellbeing goals.
