Job summary

Engage Education is seeking Trainee Positive Behaviour Mentors to support schools in Brighton & Hove by assisting children with SEMH and some needs. Training will be provided; previous SEMH experience helpful. This is ideal for graduates exploring SEND education.

Role involves supporting pupils from Reception to KS4, calming and de-escalating, managing behaviour, collaborating with staff, and feeding back to teachers and parents. Full-time, 8.15am–3.30pm, immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a range of vulnerable children from Reception to KS4
• Calmly de-escalate and manage behaviours
• Engage pupils in class and minimise disruption with other staff
• Provide feedback to teachers and parents
• Be available full time: 8.15am–3.30pm
