Job summary

Superdrug is recruiting for a temporary 3‑month role in Preston St Georges. Hours are 8 per week, Saturdays, with flexibility for weekdays. Salary is £13.80 per hour for Dispenser or up to £13.00 per hour for a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

No prior pharmacy experience is required—NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or a keen interest in healthcare will suffice. You will support counter sales and dispensary tasks, deliver friendly, professional service, and learn in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) or genuine interest in healthcare to start as trainee.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; passionate about healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a team or independently; adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.
