Job summary

Superdrug is hiring for a Daventry-based pharmacy team. This role welcomes qualified Dispensers and those starting as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant. Hours: 16 hours per week, Saturdays 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Salary: £13.80 per hour for Dispenser or up to £13 per hour for Trainee.

No prior experience is required—passion for healthcare and customer service is valued. You’ll join a supportive team focused on learning and development across counter sales, dispensary work, and customer care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required - just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
