Job summary

Superdrug is seeking candidates for a part-time position in our Birkenhead pharmacy. We welcome qualified Dispensers or those starting out as Trainee Pharmacy Assistants. The role offers 8 hours weekly with Wednesday 09:00-17:30 and flexibility to cover additional days, including Saturdays.

Salary is £13.80 per hour for Dispensers or up to £13.00 per hour for Trainee, with no prior experience required and full training provided in a busy counter and dispensary environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR keen interest in healthcare to begin as trainee.
• No prior experience required – passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising.
